FREE and Open to the PublicPort Freeport will host the 26th Annual Take-A-Child Fishing Tournament on May 09, 2026, at the Freeport Municipal Park from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Children age 3-14 are invited to participate in the fishing tournament!
Register on the day of the event.
Entry fee: 2 canned goods per child (Benefits the Dream Center Food Pantry)
T-shirts and giveaways for the first 400 entries.
Lots of door prizes!
Awards are presented to 1st - 3rd place winners in two age group categories (3-8 years) and (9-14 years)
Bring your own fishing equipment!
BAIT PROVIDED! (NO LIVE BAIT ALLOWED)
