Please join us for the 26th annual D95 Choral Festival on Wednesday, October 30 @ 6:30 pm in the LZHS Field House 🤩💙🎶
This event is free and open to the public!
Audience seating will begin at 6:00pm. For everyone’s safety, please enter the Field House calmly and carefully.
This year’s district-wide choir enrollment has increased by over 100 students from last year! We expect that audience attendance will quickly outpace Field House capacity. Due to the number of students involved in this special district-wide event, we are asking that each student performer have a maximum of 3 family members in attendance. We understand that this is a change from previous years! Our intention is to ensure that each performer has someone who loves them in the audience who is able to see, hear, experience, and enjoy the effort and dedication everyone has put into their music. Parking will be tight as always! You may park in the student lot or the field house lot. Carpooling is a great idea for both students and families.
This year’s Festival is called “Songs for the People.” It is our sincere hope that every student in every District 95 choir feels recognized through the music we perform. The music was carefully curated to represent the cultures, languages, and shared experiences of all students in our community.
Finally, we will continue our past practice of supporting a charity through the District 95 Choral Festival. This year, we will support Joanie’s Closet, a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) that serves under-resourced Lake Zurich Community Unit School District 95 students and their families by providing basic needs to help students achieve their full potential. Please consider making a donation at the Festival! Even $1 per person would create a sizable donation on behalf of all District 95 Choirs.
