'26-'27 Internal League Round 2 - Subject 'Long Exposure'

Set Subject: Long-exposure, time-exposure, or slow-shutter photography can involve using a long-duration shutter speed to sharply capture the stationary elements of images while blurring, smearing, or obscuring the moving elements, or panning with a moving object to keep it sharp whilst blurring the background, or intentional camera movement to blur stationary objects. Long-exposure photography captures one element that conventional photography does not: an extended period of time.
There are three sections. One for developmental critique, one for Projected Digital Images (PDIs) and one for mounted prints.
Members can submit a maximum of four images, but no more than two in any section.
The competition will be judged by an interdependent judge appointed by the Internal Competition Secretary.
This type of event is great for aspiring photographers to view just what your local club can produce and to learn what photographic judges seek in terms of imaging, composition and quality.

Guests are welcome. There is a cover charge of £5, to help with the hire of the hall, on the door. The charge is deductible from membership fees if you join, subject to a maximum of £15 total discount after three visits.
