Central Vermont, let’s help fill the shelves for our neighbors!
Our 25th annual Stuff A Truck / Pack the Pantry food drive welcomes public food drop-offs from 5 a.m. Thursday, November 19, through 3 p.m. Saturday, November 21, 2026 (Eastern time). Wednesday, November 18 is our setup day; public drop-off begins Thursday morning.
Bring unopened, nonperishable food such as canned soup, vegetables, beans, tuna, peanut butter, pasta and rice. A bag from your household or a box collected by your school, workplace, church or group can help the Central Vermont Salvation Army Emergency Food Shelf.
Drop-off: 168 Ames Drive, Barre, VT 05641. We are open around the clock once drop-off begins at 5 a.m. November 19, until the 3 p.m. close on November 21.
Neighbors from Barre, Barre Town, Montpelier, East Montpelier, Berlin, Williamstown, Waterbury, Orange and surrounding communities are welcome. Santa visits Friday, November 20, and the 802 Ghostbusters visit Saturday, November 21; appearance times are still to be announced.
