25th Annual Mayer Center Symposium

Please join us on October 23 and 24 as we celebrate 25 years of innovative scholarship on Ancient and colonial Latin America and reflect on the legacy of Frederick and Jan Mayer. Bringing together more than dozen scholars from the United States and Latin America, the program will look ahead to the next quarter century and the questions, methodologies, and themes that will guide a new era of research.
Buy tickets for onsite at the Denver Art Museum or buy virtual tickets to livestream the event from home. Doors open 30 minutes in advance both days. Cocktail hour on day one (October 23) will be from 5 to 6:30 pm.
Organized by Dr. Victoria Lyall (Curator of Arts of the Ancient Americas) and Dr. Kathryn Santner (Assistant Curator of Latin American Art). Sponsored by the Mayer Center for Ancient American and Latin American Art.
