25th Anniversary of 9/11

8:30 a.m. Morning Observance

All are invited to join a morning observance honoring the lives lost and the heroes who responded on September 11, 2001. The observance will take place at 8:30 a.m. with a ceremonial howitzer salute and the participation of Independence firefighters and first responders. Together, we will pause to remember, honor, and reflect on the lasting impact of that day.
