This Independence Day marks America’s 250th birthday, and there’s no better place to celebrate than Lewes, the First Town in the First State!
On Saturday, July 4, Lewes will be buzzing with festivities. Swing by the cottage at the Dogfish INN where we'll have beer & canned cocktails available for purchase benefitting Go Fourth Lewes, as well as iced coffee, ice cream bars and more!

- Thursday, July 2: Rocking the Docks Fireworks & Drone Show
Kick off the festivities at the Lewes Ferry Terminal with Rocking the Docks, featuring a brilliant fireworks and drone show lighting up the Delaware Bay.
- Friday, July 3: Lewes Historical Society First Friday
From 4 - 7 p.m., enjoy the lively First Friday celebration at the Lewes Historical Society, where art, music, and community come together. Sip on Dogfish Head beer, available for purchase, as you witness history unfold in the very spirit of 1776.
From revolutionary reenactments to coastal fireworks, this year’s celebration in Lewes honors 250 years of American independence in a town that has been part of the story from the very beginning. Join us at Dogfish INN for an unforgettable Fourth of July!
