Join the Jefferson Community Band on Thursday, July 16, for a free, family-friendly concert celebrating 250 Years of American Music. This special evening will be emceed by retired WDSU news anchor and former CBS National Correspondent Norman Robinson, who will also be featured as a euphonium soloist.
The program traces the rich musical history of the United States through beloved selections by Sousa, traditional spirituals, the music of Louis Armstrong, Gershwin, Bernstein, and Broadway favorites. Come experience the music that has inspired, united, and entertained generations of Americans. Admission is free, and all ages are welcome.
