– Dr. Richard Benfield, past chair of geography at Central Connecticut State University, will give an informative presentation on his top 25 places to visit after (or before) retirement on Saturday, October 11, at 1 PM at Bill Memorial Library. An experienced traveler, who has visited more than 137 destinations, Benfield will avoid the obvious. Instead, he will share slides and his experiences seeing Paleolithic cave art, the great cathedrals of Europe, majestic mountains, the Panama Canal, gorillas in the mist and more.
