Join us for a fun weekend and let the Concord Crew of dedicated Appleseed Instructors make a Rifleman of you!
This is a family-friendly Project Appleseed 25-meter Rifle Marksmanship Clinic. During two full days of instruction and live fire practice, you will learn the fundamentals of rifle marksmanship, including:
• Proper use of a USGI rifle sling to stabilize your shots.
• Natural point of aim — the point of impact where your relaxed body will place the shot.
• The steady hold factors of the standing, seated, and prone positions.
• The six steps to making the shot.
You will also learn about the history of the American Revolution, centering on April 19, 1775, the day the Revolutionary War started, and how marksmanship and aimed fire changed the course of history that day. All history stories are presented free of modern politics, partisanship, ideology, and commentary in a way that is accessible to all.
Everyone is welcome at Project Appleseed! Youth are eligible to participate in this event, and women and girls are encouraged to sign up. Invite your family and friends to attend! Both Centerfire and Rimfire rifles are allowed.
