25 Krajiski Teferic

Krajiški Teferič is a Non-Profit annual event organized by Bosnian people who have resettled in the USA and Canada, and it is held in rotating cities across the American North-East every year. Thegoal of this event is to maintain and share our cultural heritage and traditions with the new generations and the communities the Bosnian population settled in. Traditional Bosnian music anddance are presented during games, along with the tune of our popular songs at the Waterloo Convention Center. A soccer tournament for adults and youth will be held at the event, along withcooking specialties that represent our heritage. This year the event is being organized by the EX-YU Hunting & Fishing Club and Bosnians who live and work in the Waterloo area. This event is a significant sports and cultural gathering for Bosnian-Americans residing across theUSA. Since its inception in August 1999, with Waterloo as the organizer, this annual event has been a staple of the community, with subsequent successful editions held in August 2005, July 2011, andAugust 2017. With over 5,000 Bosnians attending each year, our city Waterloo is set to host this event for the fifth time. The anticipated turnout of both local residents and visitors from around the United States is expected to boost the Cedar Valley economy.
