The 24th International School & Conference on Condensed Matter Physics (ISCMP 2026) will take place from 30 August to 4 September 2026 at the International Home of Scientists “F. Joliot Curie”, located in St. Constantine and Helena, near Varna, Bulgaria.
🔬 Theme this year
Functional Materials for Sustainable Innovation and the Green Technology Transition: From Processing to Applications
Organised by the Georgi Nadjakov Institute of Solid State Physics, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, the ISCMP has been held biennially since 1980 and has established itself as a recognised international forum fostering high-quality research, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the development of young scientists.
Over the decades, ISCMP has welcomed participants from more than 40 countries, building a strong reputation for high scientific standards, interdisciplinary exchange, and active support for early-career researchers.
ISCMP 2026 will bring together leading researchers, early-career scientists, and students to discuss recent advances in condensed matter physics, with a particular focus on functional materials for sustainable innovation and the green technology transition.
