24th Annual Mexican Folk Art Weekend @ the Maloof

Twenty-five years ago, Sam Maloof teamed up with his friend and Maloof board member Nick Brown to organize a Mexican folk art festival and sale at the Maloof featuring artists who were friends and whose work they collected. Decades later, the festival continues to showcase Mexico’s finest artisans of hand-crafted pottery, alebrijes (fantastical creature sculptures), copper, silverware textiles and more. This year for the 24th edition, many of the artists are returning, and the event features new aspects such as booths and demos from local artists and free activities for families.
