If you're like me, you're ready to plan for some good things in the new year, so let's get it started with STITCHING! Every year Jen Lee hosts several virtual events with her group #24Hoursofcrossstitch https://www.facebook.com/groups/701042970298246
I thought it would be fun to stitch along with her, but also with a local group!
From Friday, Jan 17th at 10am until Sunday, Jan 19th at 6pm, we will be stitching like crazy in the State Room at the La Quinta in Madison, WI. Come for some or come for all of it!
Details:
$45 for all 3 days includes pizza on Friday night
$20 for just Saturday
$15 for just Sunday
$25 for Friday and includes pizza dinner.
Due to how wonderfully fun it was, we will also be playing LCR again. More details as it gets closer 🙂
We are a very low-key event. We don't have vendors or special classes, but we have good lighting and room to work and a whole weekend of nothing else to worry about except stitching with new friends and laughing a lot and learning the most ridiculous things. :)
As of right now, we have room for ~20 people, each getting half of a 6 or 8 ft. table. Payment required to secure your spot. Full refund before Jan 1st (My Bday!). After Jan 1st, full refund if I can fill your spot from the waiting list. Last day to sign up is Jan 15th.

You are in charge of booking your own room.
There is a Room Block under "24 hour cross stitch" for $85/night.

There are plenty of outlets in the room for task lights and other things. I will bring extra extension cords and power strips in case we need them. Other than the food on Friday night, you are on your own for food and you are responsible for all beverages. There are lots of nearby restaurant options for going out or delivery and there is a fridge in the stitching room.
Some people are #TeamSleep and will try and get 24 hours in total over the course of the weekend, and some are #TeamStitchALLNight. You DO NOT have to stitch for 24 hours in order to join us! Doesn't matter which group you fall in, we'd love to have you join us for a bunch of stitchy fun!
We will also have a Free Table for you to bring all the Stitchy stuff you have that just doesn't do it for you anymore.
