The Elberton Lions Club invites all runners and walkers to join us for our annual 5K fundraiser supporting local vision and community projects.
Saturday morning at 8:00 am on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at the Elbert County Comprehensive High School. This is our 23rd year and is our biggest source of funds. Pre-registration is $30.00 (if postmarked by 4/10) and $35.00 afterwards. Packet pickup will begin at 7:00 am on race day. We will not be offering any cash prizes.
The 5K course will start and finish at the Elbert County Comprehensive High School. The course will wind through adjacent neighborhoods before returning to the school. The high school is located at 600 Abernathy Circle just off of Jones Street. There is also a virtual option.

Colorful t-shirts will be guaranteed for all pre-registered participants and as supply lasts on race day.

Awards will be presented to Overall Male/Female, Masters Male/Female, and the top three male/females in age groups beginning with 10 and under up to 75 and over. The finish line is being managed by AAA Race Services and the results will be posted online within 24 hours at aaaraceservices.com, active.com, and runningintheusa.com.

Virtual Run Details: If you choose this option, you may run your 5K anytime and anywhere, but finish times must be submitted to [email protected] no later than Saturday, April 26th at 12 pm. Virtual runners are not eligible for awards but may pick up shirts at a later date if pre-registered. Shirts will not be shipped.

This event will be part of the AAA Health Series, Clover Glove Series, and Black Bag Series.
