Get ready for a fun-filled, non-competitive Volksmarch (People's Walk) in the charming Bavarian town of Helen, GA! 🌲🚶♂️Event Highlights:
- Walk at Your Own Pace: Choose from three scenic routes:
- 5k walk on the Helen to Unicoi Trail (Approx 3 miles)
- 10k hike on the Helen to Unicoi Trail (Aprox 6 miles)
- 5k walk on the Hardman Farm Heritage Trail (Aprox 3 miles)
- Celebrate in Style: After your walk, join the festivities at the Bodensee Biergarten Bavarian Festival! Enjoy authentic German food, refreshing bier, and lively Bavarian music. 🍻🥨
- Registration Details:
- Time: 7:30 AM - 10:00 AM at Bodensee Restaurant *You can start the walkany time between 7:30 and 10:00am after you register.
- Special Offer: The first 200 registrants will receive a swag bag filled with goodies, including 2 bier coupons, a German food coupon, a raffle ticket, and more!
- Bavarian Festival & Raffle Drawing:
- Time: Noon - 4:00 PM at Bodensee Restaurant

Day of Hike/Walk (Please cash or check only!)
Walk fee for IVV/AVA CREDIT ONLY: $5.00
AVA Registration fee per person. Children under 12
walk free but must be accompanied by an adult.
Total Discounted Cost for “Registration and the
BAVARIAN FEST PACKAGE” is only $25.00 per
person.
This includes the Registration Fee, a Volkswanderung 2025
Commemorative pin, a FREE raffle ticket for gift drawing at
2:00 PM, Bodensee Biergarten tickets for German bier &
German food, and a Swag Bag full of other free goodies
from local sponsors! A $50 value!
