22 No More - 9th Annual Veteran Suicide Awareness Walk

A 2.2-mile ruck march/walk (backpacks are optional) will occur on Saturday, April 25, 2026, around the Fondy Soccer Complex adjacent to Moraine Park's Fond du Lac campus. The walk begins in the B-1 parking lot just off Campus Drive, Fond du Lac, WI. Additionally, local mental providers and veteran support organizations will have information available.

A free lunch will follow the walk.

This event, sponsored by Moraine Park Technical College's Veteran Affinity Group and Marian University, is intended to raise awareness about the high veteran suicide rate and honor those who have lost their lives too soon, currently at 17.6 a day. A backpack is not required to participate, but individuals are encouraged to carry a photo of a service member who died due to suicide. This event is free and open to the public, although donations are appreciated. Proceeds help fund this and future events and assist local veterans organizations so they may continue their mission of serving veterans and raising awareness of veteran suicide.

Note: Pre-registration is helpful, but tickets are not required. On-site registration starts at 8:45 a.m., and the walk begins at 10:00 a.m. The event is pet-friendly, and we ask you to kindly clean up after your pet.
