PLEASE MARK YOUR CALENDARS! YOU ARE INVITED!The 21st Annual South Lyon Area Creek Cleanup Event will be held on Sunday, May 4, 2025, from 9:00AM to 1:00PM. Lunch at Noon. Volunteers will meet at 400 McMunn Street, at the Michigan Seamless Tube and Pipe Company Truck Parking Lot, South Lyon, MI 48178.
Rain or Shine. To conserve and protect our waterways, volunteers will safely remove trash and debris from South Lyon Area Creeks, Streams, and Waterways. Areas include South Lyon, Lyon Township, and Green Oak Township waterways.
All waterways are within the Huron River Watershed. Clean and cleared waterways allow for the free flow of stormwater, which leads to the Huron River, reducing the possibility of flooding area streets, residences and businesses.
