21st Annual Remembrance Day Dinner & Silent Auction

Veterans Memorial Hall, a program of the St. Louis County Historical Society, will host its 21st Annual Remembrance Dinner and Silent Auction on Thursday, December 3, 2026, at the St. Louis County Depot in Duluth.
The evening begins with a social hour at 5 p.m., followed by dinner at 6 p.m. and the program at 7 p.m. Tickets are $65 per person. Dinner will be catered by Valentini’s.
Featured speaker Stephen B. Daniel, an author, historian and Great Lakes shipwreck expert, will present “Shipbuilding in the Twin Ports During World War II.” His presentation will explore the ships, shipyards and people who helped power America’s war effort, highlighting the region’s contributions to a pivotal period in the nation’s history.
The annual gathering recognizes the service and contributions of veterans while bringing the community together for an evening of remembrance and camaraderie in support of Veterans Memorial Hall. Guests will also have an opportunity to participate in a silent auction.
The event is presented by Veterans Memorial Hall and sponsored by North Shore Bank.
