The Paddling Film Festival kicks off its 2026 world tour with The Complete Paddler hosting the Premiere on January 22nd 2026. This year, the Paddling Film Festival will be held at The Toronto International Boat Show. The Premiere is a special event on the tour as it reveals the winners of each film category, unlike other hosts showing the festival we only play the winners so the films will be a surprise!
Tickets: This year, there are two options for tickets for the 2026 Paddling Film Festival Premiere.
Option A - Standard Ticket $20.00
Customers that choose Option A will receive a ticket to the 2026 Paddling Film Festival and gain access to the Toronto International Boat Show from 4:00pm-6:00pm on January 22nd 2026.
Option B - Premium Ticket $30.00
Customers that choose Option B will receive a ticket to the 2026 Paddling Film Festival and gain access to the Toronto International Boat Show from 11:00am-6:00pm on January 22nd 2026.
We have some amazing door prizes this year and your door prize ticket will be handed out upon entry to the event. Door prizes will be handed out during intermission.
We will be offering a raffle prize this year, a brand new Boreal Designs Baltic 120 Ultralight Kayak worth $1,849.99!
Raffle tickets can be purchased at the event or online. The winner will be announced at 8:30 PM on the night of the event. Raffle tickets can be purchased HERE. If unable to attend the event, the winner will be notified via email.
One hundred percent of the night’s proceeds will be going directly to Project Canoe, a Toronto-based youth charity program which aims to foster a transformative environment for young people using the outdoors as a primary medium.
The Paddling Film Festival showcases some of the best paddling films in the world. This international competition begins in Toronto, ON, hosted by The Complete Paddler, before beginning its year-long tour across the globe and screening to over 30,000 outdoor enthusiasts and their families. The festival recognizes the best paddling films in a series of categories like best whitewater kayaking film, best canoeing film, best fishing film etc. It aims to inspire more people to explore rivers, lakes and oceans, push physical and emotional extremes, embrace the lifestyle and appreciate the heritage of the wild places we paddle.
Tickets will sell out ahead of time so there will be no tickets left at the door. Tickets can be purchased at The Complete Paddler in person or here online. Digital proof of purchase (order conformation) must be presented at the door for entry, door prize tickets will be handed out at the event.
Tickets will be available until 1:00pm Thursday January 22nd.
