Join E-Z Bait & Tackle for the 2026, 21st Annual Shad Fishing Tournament on Saturday, March 28th!This Tournament was started by our beloved founder, Gary Bevell, so that all could enjoy the shad run on the Neuse. He loved coming together with his community and customers every year until his passing in late 2023.
Fishing begins at Sunrise, with the weigh-in at EZ Bait & Tackle at 4 pm. It is open to all anglers, bank or boat. Entry fee is $20 per angler - CASH ONLY. Sign up in-person at E-Z Bait & Tackle (2049 US Hwy 117 S. Goldsboro, NC 27530)
