There are three exciting ways to participate in this year’s event:
Durango: December 6 - 8, 2024
The 21st Annual Festival of Trees & Wreaths takes place December 6th - 8th, 2024 from noon - 5 pm at the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad Museum in downtown Durango. Take a tour of this enchanted winter wonderland and get into the spirit of the season!
Cortez: November 25 - December 8, 2024
The 5th Annual Festival of Wreaths will light up downtown Cortez and other Montezuma County communities from November 25th - December 8th! Tour more than 50 beautifully decorated wreaths and play our Scavenger Hunt to win prizes!
Online Auction: December 6 - 8, 2024
View and bid on wreaths, tree decorations and presents from both communities from the comfort of your own home! Items will be available for viewing starting November 25th. Auction will be live from December 6th - 8th.

Festival events support Community Connections and Our Own Lives. Founded in 1985, Community Connections is a nonprofit organization dedicated to connecting people with disabilities, developmental delays, and complex needs to the resources they choose to lead healthy and fulfilling lives. Community Connections envisions a world where all people fully belong, contribute, and thrive. Our Own Lives is a new non-profit that has taken on the Direct Services programs previously offered by Community Connections. The mission of Our Own Lives is to provide quality support and center the disabled community to be heard. Together, these two organizations are striving toward a more compassionate, equitable and inclusive community in Southwest Colorado.
