Come celebrate all those with Down syndrome and, in particular, remember those who are no longer with us at the 21st annual Caleb Thompson Memorial Golf Tournament on Wednesday, April 29th, 2026 at Hermitage Golf Course 3939 Old Hickory Blvd, Old Hickory, TN 37138. The tournament honors Caleb Thompson, who in 2004, at 18-months old, lost a hard-fought battle with AVSD, a heart defect common in children with Down syndrome.
This tournament has grown year after year, and we are striving to be the premiere charity golf event in Middle TN.
All players will be golfing at the exclusive Hermitage Golf Course, and will receive range balls, an executive gift from DSAMT, beverages on the course, breakfast and lunch, contests during play, and prizes following play.
We have a lot exciting fun on the course planned, including the always fun, Air Cannon Contest.
Funds raised at this tournament support critical programming at DSAMT, especially our Sunshine Program, which provides support to families who are in the hospital. We deliver meals, Sunshine bags filled with goodies and visit these families to help bring some comfort during this difficult time. Approximately one-half of babies born with Down syndrome will have a heart defect, so this outreach is very important.
We encourage everyone to help by referring sponsors and/or fundraising and asking friends, family and colleagues to make a gift to help enhance the lives of those with Down syndrome.
