For 20 years, Fort Greene & Farragut Old Timers Day has brought generations back together to celebrate the neighborhood that helped shape us. It's more than an event—it's a family reunion where old friends reconnect, children create new memories, and the music reminds us where we come from.
I'm honored to once again provide the soundtrack alongside DJ Debonair, DJ Roy Boy, special guests Mad Marv and L Boogie, with the legendary Rusty Taylor hosting the festivities.
This is one of those rare Brooklyn traditions where you'll see grandparents, parents, and grandchildren all enjoying the same day together. You'll hear stories from the past, see familiar faces, and be reminded that no matter where life has taken us, Fort Greene and Farragut will always be home for so many of us.
