20th Annual Ray of Hope Survivors' Day of Remembrance & Walk

Please review the walk details before registering. The walk is at Twin Lakes Park, Twin Lakes Road Latrobe, PA 15650, Pavilion 7 & Activity Center.
Registration is now OPEN for the 20th Annual Ray of Hope Survivors' Day of Remembrance & Walk. Walking is optional--this event is much more than just a walk. In addition, we offer a Loss Survivors Event with light breakfast prior to the main walk event, raffle baskets, a memory area, a remembrance ceremony with reading of names, a light lunch, and more.
Commemorative Walk Shirt supplies are limited, so register early!
We have our winning design for our Awareness T-shirt, which will be unveiled and for sale. Also being unveiled is a new Memorial Quilt.
Loss Survivors Event
Prior to the walk, those who have lost a loved one to suicide are invited to attend the Loss Survivors Event, held in the Activity Center, which features a speaker. The Survivors Event will be held 10-10:45 AM, with doors opening at 9:50 and closing at 10:00 or when room is full - seats are limited. There is no pre-registration for this morning talk this year.
Main Walk Event General Check-in/Registration
General Check-in/Walk-Day Registration for the walk begins at 10:45. Bring cash as we sell raffle tickets ($20 for 25 tickets or $10 for 10 tickets) for some great prizes as well as the awareness apparel. Please register/check in by 11:00 at the latest as the walk opening ceremony begins at 11:15. The walk will shortly follow.
Memory Area
If you are walking in memory, feel free to bring a photo for the display, and all are invited to write the names of those we have lost to suicide to be read.

Waiver: I hereby waive and release any and all claims for damages or injury I may have against the sponsors and officials of the Ray of Hope Suicide Awareness and Prevention Task Force and its members, for my participation in said event of August 29, 2026. If walking, I also attest that I am physically able to participate in this event. I acknowledge that photos of the event will be taken and may be shared electronically.
