The Celebrating Women's Athletics Luncheon is an annual event to raise funds for scholarships awarded to female student-athletes at Binghamton University. Since 2006, the CWAL has raised more then $500,000 to support the Binghamton Bearcats Athletics Association Women's Scholarship Fund. Each year at the luncheon, attendees have the opportunity to listen to a keynote speaker that has made an impact in the history of Women's Athletics, as well as meet current Bearcat student-athletes and coaches from our women's teams. This year's featured speaker is 2024 Track and Field Olympian, Emily Mackay. Mackay is a Union Endicott native as well as the first Binghamton alum to be the featured speaker at the CWAL event. Emily graduated from Binghamton University as a five-time track and cross country All-American and has become one of the top women’s middle distance runners in the nation. This past summer, she qualified for the Paris Olympics in the women’s 1,500 and advanced to the semifinal round. Earlier in the year, Mackay was the bronze medalist in the 1,500 at the World Indoor Championships. We hope to see you all there. Go Bearcats!
