20th Annual Brooklyn Derby

For a $40 ticket, you’ll gain entry into our private event at Greenwood Park from where you can partake in all your favorite Brooklyn Derby traditions from 4–8pm: live music, $2 bets, the DIY hat table, race viewing, corn toss, dancing, and a promenade of everyone’s most festive attire! You’ll also receive your first Maker’s Mark beverage (or a zero proof cocktail) on the house. After that, you’ll manage your own food and beverage tab for the remainder of the evening.

Whether you’re in it for the ponies, the prizes, the spectacle of the hat contest, or the swagger of julep drinkers in seersucker suits, we guarantee a good time and mint juleps for all!

What does my ticket get me?

• One Maker's Mark Mint Julep or Zero-proof Cocktail
• An official 151st Kentucky Derby glass for first 200 guests
• Access to full cash kitchen and bar
• Live music, access to the DIY Hat Station, and more!
• Kids games, including Derby-themed activities by Child's Play NY from 4:30-6:30pm

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
21+ ID is required for guests intending to consume alcohol during the event.

Can children attend?
We are now offering a limited number of tickets for parents that would like to celebrate the event with their children. Brooklyn Derby is a mainly-adult event so parents are expected to keep close tabs on their children at all times.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
Yes, please contact us for assistance.

Will tickets be sold at the door?
Yes, but advance purchase helps us with supply planning.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, please do not print ticket, just confirmation email and ID.

The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
No. Name on ticket must match attendee's. IDs will be used to verify. If you purchase tickets for friends or family, please be sure to include their names on the order.

Can I buy tickets from other vendors or sites besides Brooklyn Derby?
No. If you did not buy your ticket from Brooklyn Derby's Eventbrite page your ticket is counterfeit!

What is the refund policy?
Refunds will be available until 4:00pm, May 1, 2025 (48 days prior to event start). This policy helps us confidently purchase all supplies in time for our expected number of guests.

Do you provide group discounts?
We do not.
