The Annual Tribute honoring SSG James D. McNaughton is returning, potentially for the final time on Saturday afternoon, February 1st, 2025. They say all good things must come to an end and while that decision hasn’t been fully made, there is a chance that we will be ending our 20-year run on this great event. If this is the end, let’s go out with a bang and make this the biggest turnout we’ve ever had!
It’s hard to believe that we are approaching 20 years since we lost Jimmy. It’s hard to believe that what started as a small event on Saturday afternoon, January 7th, 2006, would not only still be going but would grow into one of the biggest events on Long Island every year. For nearly two decades in what has become an annual post-holiday season tradition, Jimmy has brought his family, friends, and fellow officers and units all together to stay connected, have some fun, a few drinks, and share some laughs, tears, and memories. And most importantly, to celebrate the life of a true American Hero.
So let’s do it one more time at Mulcahy’s Pub and Concert Hall in Wantagh, NY.
