Exciting News!International yoga teachers Eli & Patrick van der Pol are coming to Cyprus for an exclusive in-person training! Known as “teachers of the teachers,” they bring expertise in functional movement, breathwork, and deep anatomical understanding to their practice.
From May 23-25, 2025, they will lead a 20-hour accredited in-person BASICS OF STRENGTH & MOBILITY Teacher Training—an opportunity to refine your skills, deepen your understanding, and explore new dimensions in your yoga practice with hands-on guidance.

💫Eli van der Pol:
Movement has always been part of Eli’s life. Growing up in Italy, she was highly active, but due to scoliosis, she started postural training at a young age. Even after serious injuries to her knees, ankles, and feet, her passion for movement remained strong—leading her to yoga.
Yoga not only helped her heal but also deepened her connection with her body. Driven by a love for teaching, she has completed over 1000 hours of yoga education, learning from renowned teachers such as Daniel Rama, Shakti Bird, Kosta Miachin, Niki Lundberg, Mikey Lazano, Alex Vyazovov, Patrick Beach, Hiro Landazuri, David Keil, and Brad Terrell.
Her passion lies in helping students push their boundaries, explore movement with curiosity, and reconnect with their inner playful child. When she’s not on the mat, Eli loves nature, warm chai, and spontaneous movement exploration.
💫Patrick van der Pol:
Patrick’s journey began in martial arts, starting karate at age 8 before expanding into Kung Fu and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ). It wasn’t until later in life that he discovered yoga—and it changed everything.
What captivated him about yoga was its holistic approach—blending physical practice with philosophy, breathwork, meditation, and Ayurveda. As a professional firefighter, Patrick has experienced firsthand how yoga enhances physical resilience, breath control, and mental clarity—benefits he now shares with fellow firefighters and students alike.
His studies in Pranayama & Breathwork complement his expertise in movement, creating a unique, functional approach to yoga. He has trained with Daniel Rama, Patrick Beach, Hiro Landazuri, Patrick McKeown, Shakti Bird, Brad Terrell, and Talia Sutra.
About the Training
This in-person 20-hour training is designed for yogis who want to build strength, improve mobility, and develop a solid foundation in arm balances. Guided by experienced instructors in a hands-on, supportive environment, this program takes a functional approach to arm balancing, ensuring a balance of strength, control, and mobility.
