How do we care for our urban forests today, and how do we adapt them for a changing climate?
On Friday, March 26, 2027, Our Community Forestry will host the 2027 Urban Forestry Convening at Southern Oregon University in Ashland, OR.
This year, we're focusing on where the built environment meets urban tree care. We're bringing together planners, public works staff, developers, and municipal decision-makers alongside arborists, foresters, and the community members who live in, and are affected by, that built environment.
Together, we'll explore:
🔹 Where these sectors already overlap
🔹 Where they aren't connecting yet, but could
🔹 How stronger collaboration can move us toward a shared vision of climate resilience
