Senior pictures are scheduled for Wednesday, October 7 during English class. Pearce Photographics will be taking traditional yearbook photos as well as optional cap and gown photos in the LMC. Cap and gown will be provided. Cap and gown portrait proofs will not be posted or available for purchase until January 1.
Standard yearbook senior portrait proofs will be posted on pearcephoto.com on October 17, and Pearce is offering free shipping to home for senior portraits if ordered by October 23. Orders placed after October 23 will require shipping to home paid by the customer. Enter any email address and the student lunch number as the password to see proofs and place an order for prints at pearcephoto.com.
Seniors enrolled in LSR7 Online Academy, in an off campus program or NOT enrolled in an English class can come to LSN any time between 7:00 AM and 2:00 PM on October 7 ONLY (cap & gown portraits and senior background not offered other picture days) if they want a senior portrait included in the 2026-27 yearbook. You can also contact Pearce directly at (816) 331-8586 to schedule a time to have a senior portrait taken at their studio for a sitting fee.
If you took advantage of Pearce’s summer in-studio sessions August 3-11, you DO NOT need to get your picture retaken at this time. For questions about viewing or ordering photos, please email [email protected]. Retake & Make Up Picture Day is Friday, November 6 in Studio 2006 before school beginning at 7:00 AM (late start), during Bronco Time, and during all lunch shifts; your picture must be taken by this date to be included in the yearbook.
For their portraits, we encourage seniors to dress up—suit and tie, dress shirt and tie, collared shirt, solid color dressier tops or sweaters. Collared shirts highly recommended, particularly for boys, and hoodies/t-shirts highly discouraged. The following accessories and items are not allowed in portraits and students who are wearing or have such will be asked to remove them before their photo is taken: no hats, no hands, no headphones, no sunglasses, no backpacks, and no purse straps. They will be asked to wear a jacket if you are wearing off-the-shoulder tops or spaghetti straps that make you appear nude in their photo (yearbook photos are cropped at the shoulders) or shirts with inappropriate images or lingo. Students who are not in compliance with these rules will not have their photo featured in the yearbook.
