Join us for the 2027 Indiana Association of Nursing Students (IANS) Annual Convention on Saturday, February 6, 2027, at Indiana University Bloomington!
This year's convention theme, "Comedy Meets Care," will bring together hundreds of nursing students from across Indiana for a day of education, inspiration, networking, and professional growth. Attendees will hear from keynote speaker Nurse Cathy of Level Up RN and endnote speaker Nurse Mike of Simple Nursing, who will share NCLEX preparation strategies, effective test-taking techniques, study methods, and insights into bedside nursing. The day will conclude with a special performance by nationally recognized nurse comedian Nurse Stankk, creating a fun and memorable end to an incredible educational experience.
In addition to our featured speakers, attendees will have the opportunity to connect with a diverse panel of nursing professionals, explore scholarship and employment opportunities, and engage with leading healthcare organizations and vendors. Breakfast and lunch will be provided, giving attendees additional opportunities to connect and network throughout the day. Whether you're just beginning nursing school or preparing for graduation, this is a must-attend event designed to help you grow personally and professionally. We can't wait to see you there!
Parking Information
Locations
IMU visitors may park in either of the IMU pay lots adjacent to the building.
- IMU pay lot #1 is located along the east side of the building, just south of Seventh Street. The entrance is at the intersection of Seventh Street and Forrest Avenue.
- IMU pay lot #2 is located on the north side of the building, directly across Seventh Street. The entrance is on Eighth Street between Woodlawn Avenue and Forrest Avenue.
The parking rate will be billed to an IANS account so the patron does not pay for parking as they exit the lot.
Arrival Time & Check-In
- Welcome Speech: The IANS Executive Board will begin the day with a welcome speech at 10:00 a.m. in Whittenberger Auditorium
- Check-In Location: Check-in will take place directly outside Whittenberger Auditorium at 9 a.m.
- Networking & Vendor Fair with Breakfast: Begins at 10:15 a.m. at the Alumni Hall.

Dress Code
Attendees are encouraged to wear comfortable business casual or business professional attire. Acceptable items include slacks, trousers, blouses, and blazers. Please wear closed-toe shoes.
