Join us for the annual Hoopin’ for Health 3x3 Basketball Tournament, a premier event dedicated to promoting healthier lifestyles. Hosted by Lakeland Regional Health in partnership with the West Central Florida YMCA and sponsored by GNC, this exciting tournament offers a day of fun, fitness, and friendly competition.

Court and Ball

The game of 3x3 is played on a half court.

Teams

Each team shall consist of 4 players (3 players on the court and 1 substitute)

Registration fees are non-refundable.

Official Rules

Game Format

• Games are played to 11
• No win by 2
• No game clock
• Two stalling warnings is a loss of possession

Scoring

• Inside the 3point line = 1point
• Outside the 3point line = 2points

Starting Play

• Ball MUST be checked at the top to begin

Possession Rules

• No make it take it
• Ball will change possession after a made basket

Must clear ball past 3point line on missed shot or turnover

Fouls

• Call your own foul
• No free throws
• Foul = check ball
• Foul call on shot = NO basket, take ball up top
• Excessive contact = warning and possible removal

Substitutions

• Only during dead ball

Sportsmanship

• Respect all players calls
• No arguing
• Unsportsmanlike conduct = removal
