About this Event

The Beaver County System of Care, Beaver County Behavioral Health, and Beaver County Zero Suicide Initiaive are proud to present the 8th Annual Zero Suicide Town Hall: Creating a Culture of Hope on September 11, 2026, at The Club at Shadow Lakes in Aliquippa, PA.

This annual event brings together behavioral health professionals, healthcare providers, educators, first responders, community leaders, advocates, individuals with lived experience, and community members who are committed to advancing suicide prevention efforts and promoting mental wellness.

Attendees will hear from nationally recognized keynote speakers Dr. Sally Spencer-Thomas and Dr. Frank R. Campbell.

Throughout the day, participants will gain valuable insight into current suicide prevention initiatives, explore strategies for fostering resilience and hope, and engage in meaningful conversations about how communities can work together to support individuals and families impacted by mental health challenges.

The Zero Suicide Town Hall serves as an opportunity to learn, collaborate, share experiences, and strengthen partnerships that help create safer, healthier communities. Together, we can continue building a culture where hope thrives, stigma is reduced, and every life is valued.

Info: Dr. Sally Spencer-Thomas is a clinical psychologist, international speaker, and leading voice in suicide prevention. Dr. Spencer-Thomas explores why the workplace is one of the most powerful yet underutilized settings for suicide prevention. Drawing on research, lived experience, and two decades of work with high-risk industries, she shares practical strategies for creating workplace cultures that support mental health, reduce suicide risk, and connect more people to help.

Drawing on decades of experience supporting individuals, families, and communities after a suicide death, he highlights strategies that foster healing, resilience, and hope.
