Competition Date: April 11, 2026Location: Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE), Abbott Auditorium, 50 Hairpin Dr., Edwardsville, IL 62026
Application Period: January 20- March 16 at 11:59 PM.
Each teacher will fill out one Student Registration Form for each of their students in addition to one Teacher Registration form.
Registration fee: $60/entry for SLAMTA TEACHERS, and $95/entry for NON-SLAMTA teachers that are still MTNA members, payable via PayPal (preferred) or by check payable to SLAMTA

All teacher dues must be current by March 16 for their students to participate in the competition.
The teacher OR the student must reside within a 100-mile radius of St. Louis, MO.
Each teacher may enter a maximum of SEVEN students.
Medal and honorable mention recipients must participate in the Honors Recital following the auditions. Teachers are also expected to be present.
Honors Recital:
Saturday, April 11 at SIUE Abbott Auditorium (Same Date & Theatre as the competitions).
Strings & Voice Honors Recital: 12:00 PM-1:00 PM
Piano Honors Recital: 5:00 PM-6:30 PM
(The final schedule for April 11 may be adjusted slightly based on registration numbers as of March 16).
Gold Medal Recital: Saturday, April 18, 2:30 PM-4:00 PM at Parkway United Church of Christ, 2841 N. Ballas Rd., St. Louis, MO 63131.
Only Gold Medalists from each Division perform at this recital, and they perform their entire program.
