25-01-2026
ANCHOR SCRIPTURE JEREMIAH 29:11
MESSAGE TOPIC:THE CALLING OF GOD AND YOUR UNIQUENESS
By: Pastor Batholomew
Introduction
God is a God of purpose, order, and design. Nothing He creates is accidental. Every human being is uniquely crafted, intentionally placed, and divinely called. The fact that no two fingerprints are the same is a simple but powerful reminder that no two destinies are the same. God has a plan and a purpose for your life. Your uniqueness is the evidence of your calling. Jeremiah 29:11 –
“For I know the plans I have for you… plans to prosper you… to give you a future and a hope.”When we walk in our God-given calling, we produce uncommon results.
Important things to note
1. We Are Called According to God’s Purpose
Romans 8:28 (KJV)
“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose.”
Every calling has a purpose, and every purpose is tied to God’s plan. Calling is not random; it is intentional and purposeful.
2 Timothy 1:9
“Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace…”
Calling flows from God’s purpose, not from human ambition.
2. Uniqueness Proves Divine Design
Psalm 139:14–16
“I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made…
Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written…”
God designed you with specific wiring to function best in your assignment.
Jeremiah 1:5
“Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee…”
👉 Before your birth came knowledge, before knowledge came ordination.God ordained you before you were formed in your mother's womb.
3. We Are All Called, But Not All to the Pulpit
1 Corinthians 12:4–6
“Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit…
And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.”
Calling is not limited to preaching. God calls people into:
Business
Fashion
Education
Governance
Medicine
Engineering
Arts and media, etc.
Colossians 3:23–24
“And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord…”
👉 Your calling is meant to reveal God and point people to Jesus, regardless of the field you find yourself.
4. Your Calling Brings the Best Out of You
When you operate in your calling, grace flows naturally.
Ephesians 2:10
“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.”
What God calls you to do, He equips you to do.
4. Man does not have the capacity to lead or direct himself.

Conclusion
God never creates without intention. Your life is not an experiment, and your uniqueness is not a coincidence. Heaven invested thought, grace, and purpose into you before you ever arrived on earth. You are called according to God’s purpose, designed with divine precision, and placed in this generation for a reason.
However, this calling can only be fulfilled when we acknowledge one crucial truth: **man does not have the capacity to lead himself**. As Jeremiah declared, the way of man is not in himself. Without God’s direction, uniqueness can become confusion, and calling can become frustration. But when your life is aligned with God’s purpose and direction, grace begins to flow, clarity is restored, and your destiny produces **uncommon results**.
Today, God is not calling you to copy someone else’s journey. He is calling you to surrender your uniqueness back to Him, trust His direction, and walk boldly in the assignment He ordained for you.
Action plan
1. **Acknowledge God as the Director of Your Life**
Let go of self-dependence. Decide today that God will lead your steps.
2. Stop Comparing, Start Aligning Yourself
Refuse to measure your calling by another person’s assignment. Your uniqueness is your advantage.
3. Commit Your Gift and Field to God
Whether in ministry, business, career, or vocation, choose to serve God intentionally where He has placed you.
4. Make Alignment a Daily Decision
Pray daily for divine direction. Uncommon results flow from consistent alignment, not occasional surrender.

Prayer Points
1. Father, I thank You because my life is not an accident. I receive clarity concerning my calling in Jesus’ name.
2. Every confusion, comparison, and identity struggle surrounding my purpose—be removed now.
3. Lord, I surrender my plans, ambitions, and decisions to You. Direct my steps according to Your will.
4. Grace to walk boldly in my unique calling, receive it now in the name of Jesus.
5. Every assignment ordained for my life, I will not miss it, I will not abandon it, and I will not fail in it.
6. Let my life produce results that glorify God and bless humanity. I receive uncommon results in Jesus’ name.

Closing Declaration
> *I am called, I am chosen, I am uniquely designed, and I am divinely directed.
> My life will fulfill God’s purpose and produce uncommon results.
> So shall it be, in Jesus’ name. Amen.*
