2026 Wheelchair Costume Workshop and Inclusive Trunk or Treat
Three Ways to Participate!
1. Volunteer
Be part of a hands-on team creating one-of-a-kind costumes for children who use wheelchairs as their primary mobility device.
• Help design, build, paint, and decorate custom costumes
• No costume-making experience required
• Volunteer as an individual or with a group
• All materials and supplies are provided
2. Sponsor
Support accessibility, inclusion, and meaningful community engagement.
• Sponsorships help cover materials, supplies, and event costs
• Recognition opportunities include event signage, press mentions, and on-site visibility
• Play a direct role in making this experience possible for families
• Sponsorships available at multiple levels.
3. Sign Up for a Costume
Families of children who use wheelchairs can apply to receive a custom, wheelchair-adapted Halloween costume—completely free.
• Costumes are designed to fit over the wheelchair and be light and comfortable
• Each child is paired with a dedicated volunteer team
• Includes final fitting and participation in the Inclusive Trunk-or-Treat
