2026 Volunteer Leadership Rally

Calling all Girl Scout Service Unit Team Members and Troop Leaders!

Get ready to travel to another galaxy, where Girl Scout volunteers rule the universe! Join us at the recently renovated Saddlebrook Resort in Wesley Chapel, Florida, on Saturday, August 22, 2026, for our annual Volunteer Awards and Leadership Rally.

This event is an opportunity to network with fellow Girl Scout adult volunteers, attend workshops to enhance your volunteer role and experience, share best practices, and celebrate the start of the new Girl Scout year.

This year's theme is "Together We Shine"

Throughout the day, you'll:

• Honor our council's national award recipients
• Network with other Girl Scout adult volunteers
• Attend workshops designed to enhance your volunteer role and experience
• Share and discuss volunteer best practices
• Explore our Hall of Experience for in-depth learning opportunities
• Celebrate service units that achieved their MY26 goals and earned the CEO Award of Excellence

Start the day by honoring volunteers during our annual Volunteer Awards Ceremony, recognizing individuals nominated by their peers for outstanding service to Girl Scouts of West Central Florida. Then, immerse yourself in workshops packed with information and resources to support your success as a troop leader or service unit team member.

Continuing this year, there is open seating for all workshops—no pre-registration required and no separate class tracks.

Attire: Space-themed attire is encouraged but optional. Feel free to wear Girl Scout gear, themed attire, or comfortable clothing.

Awards recipients and years-of-service honorees are welcome to wear their Girl Scout uniform for the ceremony and change afterward if desired.

Every ticket includes light morning bites, lunch, event patch, swag bag, workshop materials, event guidebook, and self-parking.

• Early Registration – $25 (June 15 – July 6)

• On-Time Registration – $35 (July 7 – August 10)

• Late Registration – $45 (August 11 – August 22)

Additional details, including booking information, will be shared later in June once arrangements are finalized. Room availability will be limited, so keep an eye out for future communications if you're interested in taking advantage of this special rate.

The Girl Scout Store will be offering pre-orders for pickup at the Volunteer Leadership Rally. To purchase items in advance, please email your order to no later than Thursday, August 13.

When submitting your order, please use "Leadership Rally Order" as the subject line of your email.

Orders may be paid for over the phone in advance or at the Rally when you pick up your items.
