2026 VCIC Peninsula Humanitarian Awards Dinner

Since 1963, the Virginia Center for Inclusive Communities has presented Humanitarian Awards annually to honor individuals who have demonstrated a commitment to the promotion of respect and understanding among people of diverse racial, ethnic, and religious backgrounds. On occasion, local corporations or organizations are recognized with the Distinguished Merit Award for their efforts in making Virginia’s communities more inclusive.

In addition to honoring outstanding community members, the Humanitarian Awards Dinners also serve as a platform to showcase for the mission and programs of the Virginia Center for Inclusive Communities.
