2026 Utah Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) Conference

The Utah State Hazardous Chemical Emergency Response Commission (SERC) and SERC Advisory Board are pleased to announce that registration is open for the upcoming 2026 Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) Conference.

The conference provides many opportunities for professional growth and learning, including presentations by the SERC Advisory, local LEPCs, as well as our industry and federal partners. Marathon Petroleum will be bringing oil spill equipment with rotating management stations to set up outside, for practical experience in the afternoon. We will also have some additional hands-on sessions inside the hospital.

We recommend that the LEPC Chairs, LEPC members, Emergency Management representatives, and support staff attend the LEPC Conference. An agenda will be forthcoming. For now, here is the conference information for your awareness:

March 31, 2026 at McKay-Dee Hospital, Ogden, Utah

8:30 am - 4:00 PM

Registration and light breakfast will begin at 7:30 am, with opening remarks beginning at 8:30 am.
