Join us for a series of talks providing info and resources related to agriculture, natural resources, and land stewardship in Texas.
About this Event

The Urban Rancher Lecture Series includes six seminars, plus field days designed to provide information and resources related to agriculture, natural resources, wildlife, and land stewardship for new or existing landowners throughout the state of Texas. Participants in the program will hear from experts in various fields about best management practices they can implement on their own property to get the most value and enjoyment for their families.

Each session is 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and includes meal/refreshments.

August 11th - Beekeeping 101

August 18th - Backyard Poultry Production

August 25th - Horticulture/Urban Gardening

September 1st -

Part 1: From a Cow, but How? Milk 101

Part 2: Beef 101

September 8th - Agricultural Exemptions

September 15th - Viticulture & Grow

Price is $75 for individuals and $100 for a couple. Couples can be spouses, neighbors, friends, etc. If those registered as a couple win one of the door prizes, they will receive one item to share.
