A new school year is more than backpacks and notebooks, it's about making sure every student has the support, confidence, and resources they need to thrive.
The @ulghyp invites you to be part of Beyond the Backpack, our annual Back to School community initiative dedicated to helping Hartford-area students and families start the school year strong.
Whether you give, volunteer, or attend, your support helps create brighter opportunities for local youth.
Here's how YOU can get involved:
DONATE
Help us collect school supplies, hygiene items, and other essentials to equip students for a successful school year.
VOLUNTEER
Lend a hand by sorting supplies, assisting with event setup, or welcoming families during the event.
PARTNER OR SPONSOR
Businesses, organizations, and community groups are invited to sponsor the event, host a resource table, or organize a workplace donation drive.
JOIN US
Families can enjoy an evening filled with community resources, local organizations, activities, giveaways, and more.
