Championing Rural Excellence
Join rural education leaders from across Texas for the 2026 TREA Annual Conference, taking place June 14–17, 2026 at Kalahari Resort in Round Rock, Texas.
Each year, the Texas Rural Education Association brings together superintendents, school board members, administrators, teachers, counselors, and education partners for the largest gathering of rural school leaders in the state. This conference is designed to provide valuable professional learning, meaningful networking opportunities, and practical resources specifically focused on rural school districts.
What to Expect
• Up to 10 hours of School Board Training credit
• Up to 11 hours of CPE credit (TREA is an approved TEA CPE provider)
• Breakout sessions designed for multiple district roles including board members, superintendents, principals, counselors, teachers, and central office staff
• Opportunities to connect with rural education leaders from across Texas
• 85+ exhibitors and vendors providing solutions for rural districts
• Four meal functions included with conference registration
• Access to the Kalahari indoor waterpark with hotel reservations
• Special networking events and activities throughout the conference
