‣ Model train displays by the TCA Casey Jones Chapter, Memphis Modular Group & the local Garden Railroad group
‣ Hands-on family activities, play station & FREE MemPops for the first 250 guests!
‣ Hydration station & free Train Heritage Day water bottles for the first 100 guests!
‣ Be the first to see the new historical documentary Steel Rails & Southern Tales: Commerce, Connection & Conflict in Collierville - sponsored by the Friends of the Morton Museum & a Tennessee USA 250th grant.
📍Depot Visitors Center (Collierville Town Square)
‣ N-scale model railroad by Bluff City Benders
‣ Step aboard three historic railcars
‣ Live bluegrass music on the Square, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
📍Collierville VFW POST 5066 (347 S Center St)
‣ Railroad safety info from the Tennessee Department of Transportation & Tennessee Operation Lifesaver.
‣ Try your hand at a model train switching puzzle from the National Model Railroad Association.
📍Germantown Train Depot (2260 West St)
‣ Take a rare look inside this historic site during open hours from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Presented by the Town of Collierville's Morton Museum and Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Arts Department. A heartfelt thanks to the City of Germantown Historic Commission for opening their depot on this special day!
