Join us as we travel to Winston-Salem for a Trader Joe’s shopping trip to stock up for the upcoming spring and holiday season.Before shopping, we’ll enjoy lunch at Muddy Creek Café, located in a historic mill building near Muddy Creek in Old Salem. After lunch, we’ll stop by the Old Salem Visitor Center to explore exhibits highlighting the area’s deep Moravian history. From there, we’ll head to Trader Joe’s for an hour or more of shopping their unique grocery selections.
Don’t forget to bring your own shopping bags, cooler bags, and coolers!
Price Includes: Round-trip Parks and Recreation transit van transportation and a tour host. Lunch is at your own expense.
Departure Details:
The van departs at 9:30 AM from the City of Roanoke Public Works Building

This trip requires a minimum number of participants. If canceled due to low enrollment, a full refund will be issued. Cancellations made before the registration deadline will receive a full refund. Cancellations after the deadline will incur a 50% fee.
