2026 Teacher Vacancy Grant Summit

Join the Illinois State Board of Education for a day of learning, connection, and celebration at the Teacher Vacancy Grant Summit at the University of Illinois at Springfield Student Union Center on May 19 . The summit will honor the innovation, dedication, and collaboration made possible through Teacher Vacancy Grant funding. Over the past year, this collective effort has strengthened educator pipelines, expanded district supports, and moved the state closer to ensuring that every classroom is led by an excellent teacher.

Throughout the day, attendees will reflect on shared accomplishments, exchange promising practices, connect with partners from across Illinois, and explore strategies to sustain and build upon this important work.
