Back by popular demand, don’t miss the 2026 Tarago Medieval Faire. Experience an action-packed day of medieval fun for the whole family at Tarago Showgrounds on Sunday 3 May. 🐴⚔️See Australia’s only historical solid lance joust, where fully armoured knights charge on horseback at thrilling speed. The Faire will also host the inaugural Australian Harnischfechten Championships, where armoured fighters compete on foot using swords, spears and poleaxes to crown Australia’s first champion.
Step into the medieval village, where history comes to life. Discover everything from Roman life and blacksmithing to medieval medicine, and explore the many vendors at our bustling medieval market. You won't leave empty-handed.
Other highlights include horse archers in combat, a mass melee battle, medieval dancers and musicians, and a fully equipped medieval tavern! 🍺
