Join us for this year's Tanabata Festival, Japan's star festival 🌠
Come experience the Japanese tradition of making wishes on colorful tanzaku and hanging them on bamboo trees. Try your hand at a variety of cultural activities, such as origami, calligraphy, and Japanese yo-yo fishing. Make sure to take some time to explore the Alabama Bonsai Society's bonsai exhibition, and enjoy traditional Japanese dance and flute performances! Afterward, beat the heat with complimentary lemonade and passion tea provided by Starbucks.
Please note that we will not have vendors at this Festival, unlike the Cherry Blossom Festival!
