2026 Tacoma Highland Games - Dance Competition

Competition Commences at 9:30 for all competitors.

Dances for each class are listed in the tickets and there is an opportunity to purchase all dances within a class for ease! There is a $150 cap per family. If you meet the cap, please purchase the family 150 dances, and then reach out [email protected] with each participant's name, age, class, participating dances, and FUSTA/Scotdance Number.

No Refunds: Exception if the Event does not Occur

Competition Rules:

1. Open to Northwest Region dancers only (NW-03)

2. Entries accepted on Eventbrite March 30 – June 14. No early entries accepted. Late entries will be accepted from June 15 – June 21 with a $20 fee. No entries will be accepted after June 21

3. $2 from each entry goes towards SDUSA NW Region

4. First to enter, last to dance.

5. Age is determined as of the date of the competition.

6. Age groups will be split according to entries.

7. All dancers must show their current year ScotDance card.

8. All groups will receive medals except adult premier class who will receive cash awards. An aggregate trophy will be awarded in each class except Primary.

9. Cash prizes will be awarded for Choreography Events.

10. Any dancer causing a delay may forfeit their place in event.

11. Decision of the judge is final.

12. A $40 fee must accompany any formal written protests.

13. Competition organized under SDUSA and RSOBHD rules.

14. No Refunds will be given.

15. Schedule of events will be made available online.

16. Choreography: Open to both Pre-Premier and Premier Competitors.*

*Music: 3 Min. Max. Dancer must provide music in digital format on day of competition. Music must have Celtic Theme and Highland/National movements must be incorporated.
