2026 Symphony on the Prairie

The City of North Mankato and the Mankato Symphony Orchestra are proud to announce the sixth annual concert at Benson Park: Symphony on the Prairie. The concert will run from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 12th, 2026, at the north side of Benson Park (off of Timm Road).
Families are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the concert by the Mankato Symphony. Food and beverages will be available for purchase at the event.
Admission to the September 12th concert is free. A free will offering will be taken during the concert. More information about all other MSO events, including ticket purchases, may be found at www.MankatoSymphony.org.
This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Prairie Lakes Regional Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
